Find a card
Use Search cards at the top (Ctrl+K or /).- Open by number: Enter a number such as
42or#42to open that card’s details. The card number appears at the bottom left of the card details as “Card #42.” - Search by words: Enter words and press Enter. ZARMS searches card names and the text of each card’s Google Doc, and lists the results on My board. If only one card is found, it opens.
- Pick a recent card: Click the search box to see the cards you opened recently.
Share with a link
In the card details, open More actions (the three vertical dots) at the top right and choose Share (Ctrl+Shift+S) to copy a link that includes the card number and name. Paste it into a chat or email. People who open the link can view the card details after signing in. People who aren’t members of that team, and Guests who weren’t invited to the card’s board, see “Share link is invalid.”Duplicate a card
In the card details, open More actions at the top right and choose Duplicate (Ctrl+Shift+D). A copy is created right after the original, named after the original card, and its details open. The copy keeps the board, status, priority, dates, hours, Processor, Reviewer, Receiver, parent card, custom fields, and steps. The Creator becomes the person who duplicated it. Followers and comments are not copied. A new Google Doc and folder are created, and the original doc’s content is not copied. If you create the same kind of work over and over, a template card works better than duplicating. For work that comes back on set days, set the card to repeat and the card is created on those days automatically.Group cards as parent and child
When you split a big job into smaller cards, linking them as parent and child makes the relationship clear. On the Relations tab in the middle of the card details, you can link one Parent card and any number of Child cards.- Only cards on the same board can be parent and child.
- The tab heading shows how many child cards are finished (Done or Cancelled) out of the total.
- In Timeline, child cards are listed under their parent, and the parent’s bar spans the period of its children.
