In a few places in ZARMS, AI sums up the situation when you open the screen, without you having to ask. All of them are available during a trial or on Starter or a higher plan, and they use credits when they generate text.

Generated text is reused for 24 hours

If the same person opens the same advice or report again within 24 hours, ZARMS shows the text it made before. This doesn’t use credits. To regenerate it with the latest information, press Generate again. It regenerates right away and uses credits. Insights advice is regenerated when the numbers change, as explained below.

Card advice

Open the Advice tab on the right side of the card details. Based on the card’s description and comments, it suggests the next step for the person who has the ball right now. If there are no new comments since you last opened the card, the Advice tab is selected when you open the details. If there are new comments, the Comments tab opens instead.

Board AI report

Press AI report at the top of a board’s screen to open “Progress report for “(board name)”.” AI writes a report for the person in charge from the descriptions and comments of the board’s cards that aren’t archived. On boards with many cards, it reads the cards that need attention first, such as overdue and in-progress cards, and only counts Done and Cancelled cards. Before it starts, you see an estimate of the credits it will use. The more cards a board has, the more credits it uses. If you close the report screen, the report keeps being generated, and those credits are still used. The AI report button appears on wide screens, such as a computer.

Insights advice

The Advice for you and Advice for the team tabs on the Insights screen use the numbers for the period and filters chosen on that tab to write “what’s going well,” “what to watch out for,” and “next steps.” It’s generated automatically when you open the tab. If the numbers haven’t changed since it was last generated, ZARMS shows the earlier text and doesn’t use credits. Advice for you is prepared every morning around 5:00 (in the team’s time zone) for people who opened Insights in the last 7 days. It uses the period you chose on that tab, so it’s ready without waiting when you open it. To ask AI questions in Insights and get charts and tables, see Build your own dashboards with Insights tabs. If it can’t be generated, ZARMS automatically retries a few times. If it still fails, you see “Could not generate advice.” Wait a while, then press Generate again.

Suggested Processors

When you choose a Processor in the card details, AI may recommend a good fit based on the card’s content. If the button to the right of the Processor shows SUGG (Suggested), hover over it to see who is recommended and why. Press it to make that person the Processor.

How many credits it uses

The credits used depend on how much AI reads and writes. A report for a board with dozens of cards uses more than advice for a single card. Admins can check how much the team has used on the AI tab of the admin console. For details, see Credits.
