Clear the cards that are your turn
When it opens, My Board is filtered to “assignee is me” plus “Only cards where it’s the selected people’s turn.” To also see cards that are someone else’s turn, change the conditions in Filter (see Filter and bulk edit). Switching between Kanban, List, and Timeline, bulk updates, and card details all work the same as on a board. Each card shows the name of the board it’s on. Board settings, the AI report, the board’s Google Drive button, and board duplication are not available on My Board.Keep cards that don’t belong to a board
When you create a card and choose My board for the board, the card isn’t added to any board. Use this for quick requests or for work that doesn’t have a home yet. To move it to a board later, choose a different board in the card’s details. Cards that don’t belong to a board always show the standard status names (Draft, Not started, In progress, In review, Done, Cancelled). Custom status labels set for the team or a board don’t affect them.Find a card
Results from Search cards at the top also appear on My Board.- Enter a number (
42or#42) to open that card’s details. - Enter words to search card names and the text of each card’s Google Doc. If exactly one card is found, it opens.
My Board for Guests
A Guest’s My Board shows only cards from boards they were invited to, plus cards without a board that the Guest created. Guests can’t see cards without a board that other people created.Troubleshooting
- My Board isn’t in the board list: My Board isn’t a board. It’s a screen that gathers cards. Open it with Card in the left nav.
- You see “No cards match.”: You have cards, but none of them are your turn right now. Change the conditions in Filter.
- You can’t find a card you moved: Open the board you moved it to, or search for it by card number.
