# Plans and trial

> How Basic (free), Starter, and Standard differ and what they cost, the 30-day trial on your first team, and what happens when the trial ends or you go over a plan limit.

ZARMS plans are a flat rate per team. There is no per-person charge. If you're not sure which to pick, we recommend Starter, which includes AI and external integrations.

## Compare plans

| | Basic | Starter | Standard |
| - | - | - | - |
| Monthly (tax excluded) | Free | ¥9,800 | ¥19,800 |
| Annual (tax excluded) | — | ¥98,000 | ¥198,000 |
| Members | Up to 30 | Up to 100 | Unlimited |
| Boards | Up to 10 | Up to 30 | Unlimited |
| Cards | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| AI, API, and AI agents (MCP) | During trial only | Included | Included |
| Credits each period | None | 1,000 a month (12,000 if annual) | 2,000 a month (24,000 if annual) |
| Buy additional credits | No | Yes | Yes |
| Support | Standard | Priority | Priority |

* Annual billing costs the same as 10 months, so you get 2 months free.
* The member count includes people who sign in and use ZARMS (including Guests), people who are only in the directory, and people with a pending invitation. People whose access is suspended are not counted.
* Archived boards don't count toward the board limit.
* Credits are the unit used for AI features (see [Credits](https://help.zarms.cloud/en/billing/credits.md)).

For large teams or custom contract terms (Enterprise), contact [contact@zarms.cloud](mailto:contact@zarms.cloud). You can choose invoice payment for Starter and Standard without contacting us.

## 30-day trial

The **first team you create** with a Google account starts on a **30-day Standard trial** without choosing a plan. No payment details are needed.

* During the trial, you can use AI, the API, and AI agents (MCP) as on Standard, with no member or board limits.
* You get 2,000 credits when the trial starts. When the trial ends, any unused credits expire.
* During the trial, **In trial** appears at the top of the screen. Click it to see how to keep going after the trial.
* Owners, managers, and billing managers see the days left on the **Announcements** icon in the bottom right. The announcements open on their own with 7 days left, on each of the last 3 days, and when the trial ends.
* If you choose Basic or Starter during the trial, that plan's member and board limits apply right away. AI, the API, and AI agents keep working until the trial ends.

Your second and later teams don't get a trial. You can start using Basic right away. Starter and Standard become available once you start paying.

### When the trial ends

We email the Owner and the billing manager once a week during the trial and 1 day before it ends.

* **If you don't choose a plan**: The team switches to **Basic** (free) automatically when the trial ends. You can keep using it, but AI, the API, and AI agents stop working, and members and boards are limited to the Basic caps. If you're over a cap, creating new things stops (see [When you go over a limit](#when-you-go-over-a-limit)).
* **If you chose Basic**: You can keep using ZARMS on Basic after the trial. AI, the API, and AI agents stop working.
* **If you signed up for Starter or Standard**: Billing starts on the day the trial ends, and you keep using ZARMS as before.

Either way, your data is not deleted. For the steps, see [Payment and plan changes](https://help.zarms.cloud/en/billing/payment.md).

## When you go over a limit

On Basic and Starter, if the number of members or boards goes over the limit, **you can't create anything new** — cards, boards, members, groups, and so on. Your existing data stays. You can still view, edit, comment, and change settings as usual.

To create things again, get back within the limit in any of these ways:

* [Archive](https://help.zarms.cloud/en/boards/duplicate-and-archive.md) boards you no longer use
* [Suspend access](https://help.zarms.cloud/en/team/members.md#suspend-access) for people who no longer use ZARMS, or remove them from the directory
* Switch to a plan with higher limits

If you're exactly at the limit, you only can't create more of that one thing (for boards, a new board).

You can downgrade even if your team is over the limit. Your data is not deleted.

## Change your plan

The Owner or billing manager changes the plan on the **Billing** screen. Upgrades take effect right away. A switch back to Basic takes effect at the end of the billing period. For details, see [Payment and plan changes](https://help.zarms.cloud/en/billing/payment.md).

Members and Managers can ask the Owner to change the plan by clicking **Upgrade** at the top of the screen.
