# Delete your personal data

> Delete your name, email address, and profile from ZARMS so you can no longer sign in. When you can do this, the steps, and what stays after deletion.

You can delete your personal data from ZARMS. After you delete it, you can no longer sign in to ZARMS. **This can't be undone.**

If you only want to stop marketing emails, you don't need to delete anything. In notification settings, uncheck **Receive announcements at your email about new features, case studies, and events**, or open the unsubscribe link in the email (see [Choose which notifications you get](https://help.zarms.cloud/en/notifications/settings.md#announcement-emails)).

## When you can delete your data

You can't delete your data while you're still part of any team. Whatever your role, your access must be suspended (Archived) in every team you belong to.

You can't leave a team on your own, so ask an Owner or a Manager of each team to [suspend your access](https://help.zarms.cloud/en/team/members.md#suspend-access). If you can't reach an admin, contact [support@zarms.cloud](mailto:support@zarms.cloud).

If you're an Owner of a team and there are no other owners, first make someone else an owner, or [delete the team](https://help.zarms.cloud/en/admin/delete-team.md).

## Delete your data

**1. Open the delete screen**

In the account menu in the top right, choose **Delete personal data**. If you're still part of
any teams, you'll see a list of them.

**2. Read the explanation and agree**

Read what will be deleted and what will stay, then check the box to agree.

**3. Enter your email address and delete**

To confirm, enter the email address you're signed in with, then click **Delete my personal data
from ZARMS**. You're signed out, and a completion screen appears.

## What's deleted and what stays

Your name, email address, profile, and usage records are deleted.

Comments you wrote stay in each team. The text isn't removed, and the author is shown as "Deleted member".

Each team's work data (cards and boards) belongs to the team, so it stays.

For how we handle personal information, see our [Privacy Policy](https://www.zarms.cloud/privacy). To request disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or similar, contact [support@zarms.cloud](mailto:support@zarms.cloud).
